Where to farm materials and saved builds

Last reviewed · Editor: btiger · Public-source guide.

Choose the farm by what you need. Simulation supplies progression materials; suitable Chaos/Zero System runs build Save Data; Sortie is its own drafted-run progression mode and does not directly produce Save Data when a run ends. A deck preset code is a configuration rather than a farmed loadout.

Match the goal to the mode

Prydwen documents Tactical Training resource categories. Game8's dedicated guides distinguish Save Data, Zero System and Sortie. This mapping avoids treating every run as the same reward source.

Zero System: check the Codex before starting

Game8 describes reward-focused Divine Intervention challenges that do not retain Save Data. However, the September 30 notice explicitly permits seasonal Save Data from Codices with the Shattered Light and Claw Unique Option. Do not treat every Unique label as disabling saves. For a build farm, choose a save-eligible Codex with manageable penalties; individual reward restrictions remain source-specific.

Sortie: drafted runs, not a Save Data export

Game8's Sortie guide says the run itself awards no Save Data. It recommends synergy over draft bonuses, early combat for cards/resources, and skipping cards that dilute the plan. Later routes can prioritize useful events when extra battles become expensive. This is single-source strategy guidance; weekly point recovery and reward efficiency were not independently verified.

Save Data: preserve the build you actually need

Save Data stores a loadout for use outside Chaos, including eligible cards, Epiphanies and equipment. A run has retention limits: extra cards or Divine effects can consume capacity and some changes may fail to persist. Favor the core combo over collecting every upgrade. Game8's detailed point table is patch-sensitive, so no universal point budget or duplication limit is repeated here.

  • Choose the target combatant and the cards that make its loop work before choosing optional upgrades.
  • Check that the run permits Save Data and that the desired changes fit its retention rules.
  • Resolve corrupted-data recovery carefully; preserving data and deleting memories have different outcomes.
  • Distinguish completing a Sortie-related mission for a premade-data reward from exporting Save Data directly from Sortie.

Equipment and efficiency

Chaos equipment and Memory Fragments are separate systems. Choose a Chaos region for a documented item source, then consider whether the piece supports the build. No public drop-rate comparison was verified that proves one stage is universally best; no runs-per-hour or stamina-efficiency estimate is invented.

Questions

Can I farm Save Data by finishing Sortie?

Game8 says Sortie does not export Save Data at run end. A mission associated with Sortie can separately unlock premade data; that is a different reward path.

What is the best Chaos to farm?

It depends on the target equipment, permitted Save Data and modifiers your team can clear. No verified comparative drop-rate table supports a universal best stage.
