Released entries versus upcoming characters
Prydwen’s 41 includes two Soon entries, Blazebell and Dahlia. The inferred 39 released entries is not a competing count of 41 playable characters. Game8’s October 21 page independently identifies Rossweisse as newest and those two as upcoming; the retrieved text did not expose a separate auditable full roster count.

Partner and unresolved-name searches
Licinia is listed as a Partner on Arabella’s build page. Louis, Elaine, Sileyma and Camilla have no Combatant build verified in this source set, so this index does not give them fabricated playable kits. That omission does not establish every name’s identity or prove that a character can never be added.

Questions
How many combatants are there?
Prydwen displays 41 entries on its October 26 index, including Blazebell and Dahlia marked Soon. Subtracting those two yields 39 other entries; that is a database-derived count, not an official playable-total statement. Game8 also describes those two as upcoming.
Are all listed names Combatants?
This index links Combatant builds. Licinia appears as Arabella’s Partner in the cited build guide and does not take a Combatant slot in these examples.
